Parker Seward

Painting

Parker Seward completed his graduate work at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and teaches various Painting and Digital Illustration courses. His studio work is centered around the style of hyperrealism, influenced by the idea of a simulated and self-created reality. This results in photorealistic paintings that represent ambiguous moments in time. His work has been exhibited across the United States and is held in multiple personal collections.

His research interests are focused on using abstracted and modified letterforms within street art and graffiti, and he maintains a professional presence in public and urban art. Seward has created murals and collaborative public art projects across multiple states and three different countries, seeking to emphasize the benefits of student and community partnerships.
