Outstanding Graduates Honored at UNA鈥檚 Spring Commencement

FLORENCE, AL – Sixteen graduates were honored for outstanding achievement during the recent spring commencement ceremonies that took place at the 国产AV. Fifteen students received the Keller Key, and one student received the Turris Fidelis award.
 
The Turris Fidelis award is granted to a graduating senior(s) on the basis of outstanding service to the University and scholastic achievement. Recipients of this award are selected by a committee of faculty, staff, and students. This year’s recipient is Anna Grace Rye, of Florence, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts.
 
The Keller Key is awarded at each commencement to graduating seniors who have achieved the highest scholastic standards while at UNA. Fifteen students were honored for their academic achievement. They are:
 
·      Sage Beatrice Betts, of Lacey’s Spring, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      Bailey Laine Burleson, of Winfield, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      Abbey Claire Drummond, of Madison, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      Katy Elise Dyar, of Boaz, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      Stephanie Leigh Grey, of Jacksonville, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      David Tucker Brown, of Decatur, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. On a 4.00 scale, his grade point average is 4.00.
·      Helena Ellen Heiberger, of Locust Fork, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. On a 4.00 scale, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      Kylie Ann Henderson, of Toney, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design. On a 4.00 scale, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      Jessica Elizabeth Isbell, of Florence, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. On a 4.00 scale, her grade point average is 4.00. 
·      Erin Breanna Martin, of Grant, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in English. On a 4.00 scale, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      Virginia June Posey, of Parrish, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication. On a 4.00 scale, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      Kristen Marie Retherford, of Collinwood, Tenn., graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, on a 4.00 scale, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      Anna Grace Rye, of Florence, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts. On a 4.00 scale, her grade point average is 4.00.
·      Christopher Jude Thomas, of Leoma, Tenn., graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. On a 4.00 scale, his grade point average is 4.00.
·      Robert Cooper Vandiver, of Iron City, Tenn., graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. On a 4.00 scale, his grade point average is 4.00.
