Aaron Tennessee Benson
Ceramics
Aaron Tennessee Benson received his MFA in Ceramics from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and his BFA in Ceramics from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He has interned at Anderson Ranch Art Center in Colorado and is a long-term resident and MJD Fellow at the Archie Bray Foundation in Montana. Benson's work has been published, collected, and exhibited nationally and internationally. While clay is his primary medium, he also incorporates materials such as steel, wood, concrete, and gold to explore themes of form and the eternal. He is currently an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Visual Arts and Design at the 国产AV.
