Accounting Career Completion Program
We are currently registering for the Spring 2026 semester. Completed applications and payment will be accepted through Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Coursework will need to be completed by May 1, 2026 to receive a grade for the Spring semester. If the course is not completed by that time, an automatic extension through December 1, 2026 will be granted.
Grades will be released no earlier than late-May regardless of completion date.

Looking to make a career change, but don't have to coursework needed?
Many individuals looking to make a career change to accounting discover that they need additional academic coursework. The UNA Accounting Career Completion Program is designed to meet these educational needs and provides the following benefits:
- Take up to twelve 3-credit hour accounting courses. The courses offered are those that are commonly required by states to sit for the CPA Exam.
- All courses are offered online to meet the demands of your busy life.
- All courses are taught by full-time faculty at UNA using state-of-the-art instructional technology. These faculty are available to provide guidance and feedback as you complete the course requirements.
- Tuition is $550 ($525 plus $25 nonrefundable processing fee) per 3-credit course, which includes the costs of all electronic study text materials.
To meet the requirements to take these classes you must:
- Be enrolled in or have completed an undergraduate degree program, and
- Meet the prerequisites for the course.
The Sanders College of Business and Technology will issue a badge in Professional Accounting to an individual who successfully completes at least 12 semester credit hours in courses that are part of the Professional Accounting Career Completion Program. The student must have a GPA in these 12 credit hours of at least 2.5. Once these requirements have been met, the student may request a badge by e-mailing accountingcompletion@una.edu.

- AC 463P. (3). Financial Statement Auditing.
- AC 465P. (3). Federal Income Taxation II.
- AC 467P. (3) Financial Statement Auditing II.
- AC 468P. (3) Business Law for Accountants.
